Eligibility & Syllabus
12th qualified students can enroll for this course; though a bachelor’s degree from any recognized university is required to appear for the exam. Learning would be much easier for the students who has basic knowledge in financial accounting, statistics and economics. Two continuous years of professional experience in management accounting or financial management, which can be completed after passing the exam, but are required as a final step to certification.

CMA USA Exam
As acclaimed rewards can only be achieved with determination and perseverance, almost eight months of concrete learning efforts are required to pass the CMA-USA examination. 72% marks should be obtained in order to get certified. However, the overall pass percentage is just about 45% worldwide. This shows the value and repute, the certification commands among the accounting fraternities. This examination is conducted online at pro-metric centers and carries no negative marking. Two papers of four hours each are to be attempted. The papers contain a total of 500 marks each. The papers include 100 MCQ’s and two essays. We, at Logic School of Management inculcate expert trainers with extensive knowledge preparing students in such a manner so that they can confidently take up these exams at the first go. IMA conducts these exams thrice a year, Jan-Feb, May-Jun and Sep-Oct. LSM also ensures to provide all necessary assistance to students for exam registration and enrollment.

CMA is an international certification, and is an industry integrated curriculum which examines a student at all levels of testing. CMA exams require Level C coverage, i.e., following cognitive skills: Knowledge, Comprehension, Application, Analysis, Synthesis and Evaluation.
The pass rate on the CMA differs by geographic region, but averages about 45-50%.
No, you can take parts 1 and 2 in any order. You have the option of taking both together on the same day, although many members choose to separate their testing dates.
All CMA candidates have three years to pass both parts of the exam. The time period will begin with the date of your entry into the CMA program.
You will lose any previous passed scores and will need to register for the exam again.
The minimum passing score is 360 for both parts of the exam. The exam score range is 0-500.
An exam part may be taken only once in a testing window. You can sit for as many testing windows as you need in your three-year period. All retakes require a new exam registration (not CMA entrance), along with payment of appropriate fees.
The CMA Scholarship opportunity can be offered to up to 10 students per school per year who are interested in pursuing CMA certification. This includes both undergraduate and graduate students in accredited accounting or business programs. Multiple faculty members can submit nominations, but the limit is 10 per school, per academic year.
